Help us pick what song we're going to write next. There are tons of beautiful, interesting, and funny posts written by ChristineCoke and PosterChild. Let us know which ones you like the best and which you think should be made into songs.

I'd love to hear a song about the late-night and all-night madness around mid-terms and finals -- the stuff PosterChild was writing about in mid-November and Christine Coke was writing about in early December. It's so excruciating as its happening, as the blog entries show, but for me at least it is also something really unique and vivid about the college experience.

I agree bout writing bout the midterm and final madness! I read their entries and it reminded me of my freshmen midterms and finals last fall. Just thinking bout it right now brings back crazy memories.

Midterm and final insanity is always something that college students of all years can relate to. But I also really find the CC and Wishy interactions interesting. I know lots of songs are written about friends turning into lovers, or the despair when your friend is unwilling to turn into your lover. But maybe something just from the girl's point of view. I think CC seemed to have a better idea of what she wanted than Wishy did...i don't know. From personal experience and from talking to others, I've learned that especially around the time of new experiences of freshman year, girls are more intuitive than guys realize. As in, we're often more aware that they're interested in us than the guys may realize. Yet sometimes, we still don't want to make the first move because of that whole we-want-to-be-pursued thing. So maybe something with that frustration of just wanting him to DO or SAY something about the two of you as a couple? I guess this kinda hits a chord (wow I just reread that, and no pun intended haha) with me because of my freshman year when one of my best friends that I actually met the first day there became interested in me, and we would flirt and such...but it wasn't until partway through our SOPHOMORE year that he did anything about it? And now I'm rambling so that's it...

I would agree with Juju it sounds like a good idea as well as a song about finals and midterms. Because when ever the word college comes into your mind the first to things that you think of are the times you got shit faced drunk and partied your ass off and the hard ass exams. Or maybe that's just me.

This from PC really hit home:
"And then I come home and eat cookies. It’s quite a paradox, isn’t it? I eat because I’m stressed and subsequently I’m stressed because I eat. Damn you, unlimited meal plan."

Okay as I'm reading through all of these now (at work!) I'll probably post a bunch of lines that are TRUTH about college like this one:

"Something that they don’t tell you about college is that everyone here is amazing. People say congrats when they hear you were accepted and say that it’s a perfect fit and that you’ll go off to do great things. They never say, 'careful, everyone there has amazing talents and yours will in turn seem insignificant.'" (PC)

This too: "So even if I had to watch sloppy weirdos make poor decisions, I’m glad to say I got to say hello to 2008 with my best friends."
